Challenges for Haryana Government
Big money pumped in by investors has made the market bullish. No doubt Gurgaon is strategically located and enjoys easy access to National Highway, Delhi metro and Airport but there are many things, which can concern the investors. Government planners have already warned about shortage of water and electricity. Also, there are concerns about environmental damages by these developments. The vast agricultural land in use as of now will be converted into shopping complexes or factories. No doubt government of Haryana is taking this matter very seriously and hence HSDIIC is involved in every stage of the project.

The SEZs will also have residential properties, which can cover around 1000 acres. The plans are also to build world-class educational institutions and hospitals. There will be around 2000 acres of agricultural land that will be converted to hotels, banks, and office complexes. The face of Gurgaon will change once these agricultural lands are transformed to high tech city.
