IILM, Gurgaon was established in 1996. The campus is spread over about 7 acres of land. It offers its students a friendly environment where they can efficiently prepare themselves for the competitive world outside. After completing the education, students are placed by the institute in various national and international firms. The institute has its own Careers Advancement & Placement Services (CAPS) cell under the Corporate Affairs Department, which helps students in getting placed.
Programs Offered
IILM Gurgaon, offers many academic programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Some of these are
Post Graduate Program (PGP) was started in 2004. This is a two-year full time flagship program of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship. This program helps in developing the students to become business leaders in their field. In this program, students undergo various real life case studies to enhance their fundamental concepts of business and entrepreneurship. This program includes the study for a foreign language like French /Mandarin /German/Spanish. The various elective programs offered under full time PGP are: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource (HR), International Business (IB), and IT.
PGP Sectoral Programs
IILM, Gurgaon also offers many types of PGP sectoral programs which include
Post Graduate Program in Retail (PGPR): The program started in 2006 and focuses on imparting management education to the professionals in the field of retail management. The program aims at providing a detailed and practical study of the retail sector. It includes training them in operations, environment, human resource and values, social responsibility, information, and communication.
Post Graduate Program in Facility Management and Real Estate (PGPFRM): The real estate sector has seen some major advancement in the last few years. IILM has strategic tie-up with DLF, the leader in the real estate industry in India. DLF helped IILM in developing and designing the PGPFRM program. This one-year full time program aims at training its students to specialize in the field of facility management and real estate.
Post Graduate Program in Hospital Administration (PGPHA): This two-year program aims at providing courses in general management and hospital administration. Doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacy graduates and science graduated from recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate are eligible for this program.
Post Graduate Program in Management and Insurance (PGPMI): This one-year program was launched in collaboration with ICICI Prudential. It aims at imparting knowledge to students in the field of insurance management.
Executive Programs
The college offers many part-time executive programs in various fields as well. The programs offered are
Part time PGP: This program is developed for the managers who want to enhance their managerial skills with the study of various programs in the field of business and entrepreneurship. Guest lecturers from various fields help managers learn from real life experiences. It's a 24-month program divided into 4 course types.
Modular PGP: This is a 2- year program, which builds a strong base in problem solving, group discussion, and logistics. The program aims to develop tomorrow's business leaders who create, manage and lead effective changes across diverse organizations.
Executive Diploma in Management: This course offers its students a choice from various electives. This helps in gaining a new outlook from studies. The various electives available for the students are Marketing, Finance, HRM, Information Technology, and operations management.
